Certified Medical Assistant Overview:
Flexible mix of remote and office-based schedule using CMA office skills and knowledge.
Daily communication with medical providers, nursing staff, patients, and family members.
Manage input of patient information, update records, and process orders for providers.
Respond to phone calls, faxes, and other office correspondence as directed.
Reliable, efficient with time management and response times regarding patient needs and provider requests.

Office Medical Assistant / CMA Qualifications:
Holds current Certification or Registered as a Medical Assistant in state of MN.
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records including Point Click Care or willingness to learn multiple EMR system basics to obtain patient information.
Understanding and experience with medical and healthcare terminology related to long term senior care.
Strong computer skills and prior experience in administrative support, specifically with Microsoft Office and Teams and/or willingness to learn.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
