AHI Strategic Solutions provides consulting services and interim support to assisted living and nursing homes. We are currently seeking qualified RN’s for consulting and leadership roles with our clients. Specifically we are looking for nurses with DON experience in skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. MDS experience is a plus.
Job Description:
The RN Consultant is responsible for project work such as mock surveys, plan of correction support, interim leadership support, regulatory guidance and in-service education etc.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The RN Consultant performs well independently or with a team, utilizing clinical, analytical, communication, and customer service skills, as well as sound judgement and professionalism.
Function as an advisor for healthcare agencies and facilities
Maintain current on professional standards of nursing care, federal and state statutes / regulations
Provide professional, quality-driven services, including but not limited to mock surveys, education, research, analysis of healthcare systems and processes, creative problem-solving and recommendations, and written presentations to clients
Assist clients with assessing, planning, developing and implementing systems, processes, and other needs as requested
Consult and provide technical or interim management assistance to providers as requested by the client
Identify training needs; plan and conduct training/in-services as requested
Work as a interim RN (D.O.N., Nurse Manager, Housing RN.)
Travel within Arizona for work assignments, as necessary
Function within scope of work as defined by the client
Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have current and unrestricted RN license in Arizona
Must have been in a Home Care, Senior Living, Skilled Nursing, or Assisted Living leadership role for at least three years
Strong customer service skills to coordinate service delivery, including attention to clients, sensitivity to issues, identification and resolution of issues to promote positive outcomes for clients; requires initiative, innovation and creativity
Critical thinking skills with the ability to make good decisions and exercise sound clinical and professional judgment
Proven knowledge of quality improvement concepts and processes
Must be flexible to travel.
Salary: $80,000-$100,000
