With over 33 years of experience which includes Director of Nursing in Long Term Care, Office of Health Facility Investigations, Hospital Clinical Operations, Public Health and Health Education, and experience with comprehensive licensure for Assisted Living, she applies her strong well rounded expertise in a manner that is sensitive to the unique needs of the facility and its leadership while delivering quality driven results that are quickly reproducible.
Prior to joining AHI, Lynn was a Director of Nursing in Long Term Care for over 18 years where she taught the facility how to understand and manage the regulations as it relates to the survey process, managing risk and preventing on-site investigations as well as development of care niches and creating preferred partnerships with area hospitals and clinicians. Her deep understanding of the daily operations and work load that health care staff experience combined with her ability to teach staff how to manage the at risk situations make Lynn ideal for teaching and supporting a new Director of Nursing.
Lynn as a Director of Nursing creates relationship based care techniques that quite simply empower staff closest to the problem, the responsibility and accountability to solve the problem. The techniques are grounded in core values that guide staff towards alignment with health and positive work values. The outcome of this model was a reduction in job dissatisfaction, improved customer satisfaction as well as pride and ownership of the care we delivered as a team.
